Join us as we celebrate the life of Dr. Nina Simone. Ozara will take us on a theatrical journey depicting the good, the bad and the ugly that is Nina Simones life. Come laugh, dance, clap your hands and even shed a tear or two, as we peak in the incredulous life that is Nina Simone; one of our greatest Civil Rights activists and protest singers of the 20th Century.
Families bring your mothers, grandparents and children. If we don't tell our stories who will?
My name is Ozara. I am a firm believer in the power of music and think it can be an antidote for a lot of the ills that we face. Instead of complaining about what some say is not in the music today (soul, respect, etc.), I am striving to do my part to put more love back into the music.
You can purchase my single, It's Time, by downloading it here.
Thank you for your support of me as an artist, together we can continue our rich tradition of making music that comes from the heart. Please tell your friends and family about It's Time, not only as a song but as a movement back to ourselves.
Thank you again for your love of music. -Ozara Odé
